- or
Mountain ToP for short - took place in beautiful Durango, Colorado on
October
6-7, 2007 and it was a raging success! The
average participant rating for
the conference was 4.91 out of 5.After a one-year hiatus, Mountain ToP triumphantly returns in Fall 2009 to the lovely village of Colorado Springs, CO. The 4th biennial Mountain States Conference on the Teaching of Psychology will take place at the beautiful, picturesque Penrose House in Colorado Springs, CO on September 25-26, 2009. The conference offers highly engaging and interactive sessions in a small, intimate setting. Our target audience includes psychology instructors in high schools, community colleges, 4-year colleges, and universities throughout the Rocky Mountain region who want to explore new approaches that will broaden their teaching skills.
The 2009 conference will include keynotes from renowned national speakers and award-winning professors of psychology such as James Nairne and Ellen Pastorino, as well as a free preconference workshop on active learning followed by 2 days of hands-on workshops and stimulating roundtable discussions. The conference will be limited to 84 participants (so get your registration form in early), as active involvement of all participants will once again be a main feature of the conference.
